Well, the vine lace socks have me stumped. After two tries I still cannot for the life of me figure out why the YOs don't line up. I'm getting a swirl instead. See?
It's almost as though I'm somehow moving a stitch to the wrong needle each time, but I don't see how. Anyhow, it was time for a new plan.

The pattern is beautiful! I'm sure your pal will love them. I have been in denial that my pattern is not showing up with a varigated yarn. I love them both, but there will probably be a decision post on the pligg by tomorrow...
