Yarn Harlot

| | Comments (3)

Tonight I went to see Stephanie Pearl-Mcphee, the Yarn Harlot at Copperfield Books in Petaluma. She was terrific and really, really funny. I was actually crying at one point. She talked for about 45 minutes, took a bunch of questions, and then signed (and personalized) books for everyone.

Here she is taking her sock picture.

There were probably about 150 knitters there. Amazing! Everyone was super friendly and they were all knitting!

Here she is with me! and my Sockapalooza sock. I'll send a copy of this to my pal in August. The sock has Harlot mojo now!

I bought At Knits End on audio CD, which should be a lot of fun.

Copperfield books was terrific. They were great hosts and have a lovely store. I could have spent LOTS of money there, but was restrained and stayed on task. I did however stop in to Knitterly and treated myself to some Koigu sock yarn.

How cool! :) I'd love it if those were to be my socks ;)

How cool is that?Harlot mojo on a sock...I could use some of that!

That's a great photo of you and the Harlot and the socks--it's sure to be a hit with your Sock Pal!
