I'm knitting five items to send to Mongolia as a part of the Dulaan 10,000 drive. Here are the first of them:

This is Tychus from Knitty. As you can see on my daughter's large-for-her-age head, it's enormous. One of the great things about knitting for such a large organization is that you know that whatever you make will fit someone.
It's made vertically using short rows and has only one row of seaming. It was pretty fun seeing it come together so differently than all the other hats I've made.
Pattern: Tychus from Knitty
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool-Ease in Pines and Fisherman, two strands held together throughout.
Next is the Windy City Scarf from Stitch N Bitch. It was the first scarf I made and I'm happy to find it a good home in Mongolia. It's a little shorter than the pattern because I miscounted the red rows. Oops!
Pattern: Windy City Scarf from Stitch 'N Bitch
Yarn: Mission Falls Merino Superwash in Poppy and Cocoa
